Location
5950 Holly Street (Just south of 60th Avenue between Holly Street and Monaco Street)

Pioneer Park is a 35-acre community park in the historic part of Commerce City. Development was completed on the western 18 acres in 2004 (3 ball fields, 2 playgrounds, shelters, BBQ grills, perimeter trail) and an additional 15 acres are currently being developed. The park was designed with input from the Youth Activities Taskforce.
Current development (Phases 2a, 2b and 2c) includes:
- a fourth ball field,
- shelters,
- BBQ grills,
- completion of the perimeter trail,
- batting cages,
- a sprayground,
- basketball courts
- and a skate park.
The final two acres will be developed into an aquatic facility in the future.
Purpose
Pioneer Park provides needed recreational amenities to the historic part of Commerce City.
Status/timeline
The phase that is currently under construction will be completed in Spring 2008.
