Methamphetamine Lab Response Vehicle

The Methamphetamine Lab Response Vehicle is a custom-built vehicle designed to respond to, and support law enforcement operations at, a criminal methamphetamine lab location. The vehicle contains specialized equipment designed to protect the officers investigating these extremely dangerous labs. The vehicle also provides room for workspace and documentation.
The vehicle also has the ability to support operations at other types of emergencies and special events. It is operated by the Office of Emergency Management. The vehicle was funded by grants from the U.S. Department of Justice totaling $242,000, with more than half being specialized hazardous materials equipment. The vehicle will respond to assist other Metro Area agencies upon request through the Office of Emergency Management.
