Who must have a use tax account?
A person engaged in business in Commerce City who does not make retail sales must establish a use tax account.

When do I charge use tax?
Generally Commerce City sales tax must be collected on all sales, leases or rentals of items in Commerce City including items delivered into Commerce City. Commerce City tax should not be collected if an item sold in Commerce City is delivered outside of the City limits by the seller.
