Citizens in the City of Commerce City can assist law enforcement services by becoming aware of criminal activity and reporting what they see or hear. If a vehicle is involved be prepared to give the vehicle description, including license plate vehicle color, stickers or damage that identifies the vehicle. If people are involved provide the number people, a description of clothing, and the location. It is also helpful to keep track of the direction of travel if the subjects leave the area.
