Ask c3gov - municipal court - proof of insurance

Do I need to appear in court for a “no proof of insurance” ticket?

Yes, unless you can verify that you had insurance at the time of the ticket.
If your insurance was valid at the time the ticket was issued, bring your insurance card to our office, at the Commerce City Municipal Court in City Hall, before your court date. We will contact your insurance company for verification and dismiss the ticket.

If I have a ticket for a "no proof of insurance" plus another violation, do I have to go to court?

Yes, you must appear in court. Court date information will be mailed to the address on your ticket within 21 days of the date you received the ticket.
