In residential areas no more than (3) three dogs or cats or any combination of dogs and cats can be kept with out first obtaining a multiple pet owner or hobby breeder license.
What is a commercial kennel or cattery?
Commercial kennel or cattery: Any establishment or parcel of property upon which a person harbors, keeps or boards more than three (3) dogs or cats or any combination thereof, and where the dogs and cats, male or female, are maintained for boarding, training, breeding or similar purposes for fee or other compensation, or where the dogs and cats are offered for sale, adoption or exchange.
