Sec. 4-6. Encouraging, training or keeping for fighting.
It is unlawful for any person to cause, instigate or encourage any animal or fowl to fight with another of its own species or with another animal or fowl of a different species. It is unlawful for any person to train or keep any animal or fowl for the purpose of fighting or to maintain a place where any animal or fowl is permitted to fight for exhibition or for wager or for sport. Ownership of the animal shall not constitute a defense for such acts or for any violation of this section.
